At 10:29 p.m., officers responded to 300 block of Morse Street after receiving a ShotSpotter detection and found Jose Hiraldo-Peralta with multiple gunshot wounds, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said.
A 28-year-old Camden man was located inside a nearby residence with a gunshot wound, authorities said.
Hiraldo-Peralta was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead soon after, authorities said. The other man is in critical, but stable condition, authorities said.
This investigation is active and ongoing, authorities said.
